Pros outweighed the cons, I mostly enjoyed living here.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location near the train and walking distance from Central Park. Decent amount of space in apartment, new appliances that worked great. Overall a nice spot, I miss it.
Cons:
We had a bad upstairs neighbor that was kind of noisy at night and would overflow their sink/tub to the point where it frequently leaked into our kitchen or bathroom. Management was pretty good about fixing our place when it happened, but we sometimes had to be a little pushy to get them in to help. When the upstairs neighbors moved the problem went away. (Other neighbors were great.)

Other notes: lots of sirens because it's near Mt. Sinai, but it's not so bad once you get used to it. Definitely take them up on the once-a-month exterminator, or you will have some bugs show up (but if you do this and keep your place clean you'll be fine). Super sensitive smoke alarms and occasional water heat issues (standard NYC apartment issues).
Advice to owner:
Be a little more aggressive with neighbors that cause property damage.
