My favorite brownstone apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
When I lived there all the tenants were mature and respected the building. They were also quiet. The apartment I lived in had amazing natural sun light in the large living room and while my bedroom faced the street, I had plenty of space and good nights of sleep. Also loved having a combo washer dryer unit in the apartment!
Cons:
There is a fire station down the block and every time they leave with their sirens you’ll hear that as the truck must travel west on 133rd—passed the building and subsequently your bedroom. Oh and often the call box would malfunction when it rained and have a buzzing noises for hours until it stopped on its own or was fixed.
Advice to owner:
Keep renting to the high quality people you have who respect the building, are chill with the other tenants, don’t make noise, and mind their business in the comfort of their own apartment.
