239 West 116th
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good size apartment
Cons:
unresponsive landlord and management, huge pest issues and trash issues
Over 2 years ago
Stay away from this building
Former Tenant
Pros:
There’s nothing positive.
Cons:
the property managers don’t care about the tenants and don’t take care of the building. Drug dealers who don’t even live in the building sell next to the mailboxes, they have keys and keep the building door open so there’s barely any security. The floors are nasty, the elevator is disgusting.

Poorly Maintained and Lots of Noise with Rats at Night
Former Tenant
Pros:
High Ceilings
Bagel Shop Nearby
Cons:
Shooting of 4 people on 9/27/2022. Gunmen still at large.
Dirty Trash Area that feeds hundreds of RATS
Common Areas Aren’t Cleaned
Building Poorly Maintained
No regular exterminator visiting the building.
Zero to Minimum Heat in Winter Months
Lots of Outside Noise
Management company doesn’t pay ConEd
Advice to owner:
Put lids on the trash cans so rats can’t eat the trash. Clean and Maintain the Building. Pay the ConEd Bill.

Leaving bc of how poorly maintained
Former Tenant
Pros:
Open kitchen layout, laundry in unit
Cons:
Completely unresponsive management, leaks that go unfixed, rats in walls, dirty building poorly maintained, cockroaches
Advice to owner:
Clean and maintain building, get a trash compactor, respond to issues
