Nice but Decieving
Former Tenant
Pros:
Proximity to the Train (Same Block as ABCD)
Close to 125th and 116th shopping, bars, restaurants, etc
Across the street from a great corner store, awesome food & people
Washer/Dryer (2 in 1)
Cons:
Roaches & mice in apartment especially in the winter
Ants in the summer
Extremely unresponsive property management takes months to get the smallest things resolved
Ants in apartment in the summer time
Poor ventilation in bathroom, mold on ceiling of bathroom
Windows don’t open
Advice to owner:
Respond to tenants and their needs upon initial report rather than waiting until tenant threatens to withhold rent and reports to HUD
Make sure to seal all holes in apartment to prevent mice and roaches

Better now
Former Tenant
Pros:
Lots of windows, all apts have multiple exposures, tenants leave each other alone
Cons:
Loud street traffic, pests
Advice to owner:
Thanks for not being E&M Associates. This building is great when a normal landlord owns it and not a slumlord. It has gotten much better since it was sold in 2018.
