Summer Apartment Sublet
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, well-managed building. Had one minor maintenance issue while I lived there and building maintenance fixed it same day.
Cons:
Once or twice did not feel safe in the surrounding neighborhood.
If you're an incoming grad student, choose to live here! It's the best taken care of building on campus.
Cons:
Q,P,R,O are the best apartment letters to get, as they face the park

A very good option for Columbia postdocs
Former Tenant
Pros:
Building staff are very helpful and professional. Apartments facing Morningside Park can have amazing views. Apartment was clean with new appliances when I moved in.
Cons:
I did have a roach infestation at one point. My unit has an extremely small kitchen with little counter space, and Morningside Park can be noisy.
Advice to owner:
Please let residents pay online rather than by check.

Great for the price
Former Tenant
Pros:
Rooms have thick walls between them, can’t hear neighbors at all If you’re living here you’re a Columbia student so the rent is subsidized which is great Trash collecting is pretty good I just have to leave it in the hallway Columbia residential is quick on repairs too, website says 3-5 business days but they sent someone literally the next day Doorman’s there too, good delivery package receival Honestly, can’t complain
Cons:
Building is a bit old but that’s NYC for you No AC so you have to buy your own Stuff is pretty basic, equipment all pretty old but it works and eh can’t complain for the price
