Overall pretty good place to live, could be a bit cleaner
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is in a great location, and has some wonderful tenants. The units are beautiful with much charm and many face the park. It's nice to have an elevator (although it's a bit slow) and the laundry machines work well! Also a great spot in terms of a very quick walk to the A/C and even not too far from the 1.
Cons:
The lobby could be cleaner and has a constant slight odor.
Advice to owner:
This building would be amazing if the lobby was cleaned. Feels sometimes like management doesn't care about the up keep.

Pretty good place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Elevator always works, laundry machines are consistent and super is very kind
Cons:
Window in bedroom opens on to very loud, empty courtyard area. Roaches even in the winter.

Comfy In Harlem
Former Tenant
Pros:
I love this building’s location. A good size apartment just off the ABCD trains is a dream! I also loved the neighborhood feel. Some people in the building have been there for 20,30, 40 years, so if you want to be in somewhere with real people from Harlem, this building is great!

I also had a brand new renovated apartment. Never a mouse issue, and very few bugs.
Cons:
-Sometimes the super doesn’t get back to you (not often).
-It can get busy out front in the summer, when people grill and sit outside—but it will be that way anywhere in Harlem, and no one bothers you.
-The laundry is in an unfinished basement that can be a bit frightening.
Advice to owner:
This building could stand a little love.
