Great building and staff
Former Tenant
Pros:
All the staff are responsive, nice and on top of their jobs. Any issues are resolved quickly. Great price for the apartment. All utilities and wifi are included. The virtual doorman (butterflyMX) is great to let packages and deliveries in to the lobby from your phone. Laundry in building. Great area, quiet but close to restaurants and bars. Plenty of bus stops around the corner. Really close to Columbia University.
Cons:
Laundry is slightly expensive. Building is at the top of a big hill. Lease management is cumbersome and doesn't always make sense because it is managed by Columbia University. Distance to subway is not ideal (but it is not a deal breaker)

Nice place to start out
Former Tenant
Pros:
Beautiful pre-war building. It’s kept very clean. Very limited noise.
Cons:
Responsiveness could be better. We have to file our issues through a system, but we have no idea if somebody ever reads them, so we end up texting our super every time. Issue with the intercom still hasn’t been fixed.
Advice to owner:
Be a little more clear - are we using the system or not? If yes, please actually respond.
