Avoid This Place
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cheap rent, accessible location, affordable laundry in building
Cons:
Mice/roaches (no pest control), inconsistent heating, unmaintained infrastructure, unsafe and unsanitary conditions (moved in to find mice feces and animal urine caked on the floors, mold, broken windows), unresponsive owners who exhibited borderline unhinged behavior (applies to the landlord as well as her family members who sublet their apartments in the building - received threats and one family member tried to offer us money to stop complaining to 311 and move out), basically nonexistent "co-op board" that consisted of family and friends, other tenants don't maintain their apartments (resulted in pests, leaks, mold), no sound insulation
