3151 Broadway Apartment review
Former Tenant
Pros:
At a good location, it has lots of delis and restaurants nearby.
Cons:
My apartment in the building has cockroaches and my roommate once spotted a rat.
Also, the piping drainage system of the apartment is quite old so the broker advised us not to flush down tissues directly after having a clogged issue which I personally find an unhygienic thing to do.
There is no washer and a dryer in the building or in my apartment so we have to use a laundromat which can be pretty inconvenient at times.
Close to the subway station, so the subway train noise is pretty loud. Especially during night it can get more noisy when the subway passes by.
Advice to owner:
The current super in the building is not very responsive. He once got very aggressive when we had a toilet clogging issue. I am not sure if that is a one time behaviour but still not appreciated.

Do not rent from Anna V
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location. That’s about it.
Cons:
I am thankful to have found this app because I have wanted to warn people against renting from Anna.
We rented an apartment from Anna that clearly had not been renovated or properly upkept in years. However it was priced well and a good location.
The apartment soon began to fall apart. There were holes in the floor and cracks between the walls and the baseboards. The grout was cracked and soon the kitchen cabinet began to detach from the wall. Then, the roaches came. A horrible infestation that we could not keep out because of the multiple entry points. When I begged Anna to send pest control she accused me of being dirty. She then sent her son to our house, pretending to be a worker she hired, to check on the issues. I only found out they were related by finding him on Facebook. After eight months killing at times up to 50 bugs a day, a visit from the city (in which I pulled out a ziploc bag from the freezer full of dead roaches to show the horrified inspector), and countless visits from Anna’s lying son, we all agreed we could leave and they wouldn’t come after us. On our way out, Anna said in a phone call (which I recorded) that she knew I had some ulterior motive for getting out of the lease and she would find out. Please learn from my mistake and know that even if the apartment looks OK initially, Anna will never help if things go awry.
Advice to owner:
Act like a decent human being.
