Don’t live here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice location, close to many good restaurants and bars and bodegas
Cons:
Had to file a 311 report to get my heat turned on (in December), super repeatedly entered our apartment without notice when we weren’t there (which is illegal) and didn’t even lock the door behind him, repeated issues with cockroaches and mice despite meticulous cleanliness, radiators made a mysterious banging noise that woke us up at night all winter and also leaked onto the floor. We could not wait to move out. Cannot dissuade you from living here enough.
Advice to owner:
Get a different super

Great location in rising neighborhood, but could be better
Former Tenant

Cons:
- Students - Overpriced rents - Building could be maintained and cleaned more often

It’s just ok
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location to the 1 train and good spot for students in the area. Liked washer/dryer in unit too. Had a street facing apartment and got great light throughout the day.
Cons:
The apartment was not clean when we moved in, bathroom so small it’s impossible not to have water damage in there. Being a street facing apartment there was sooo much street noise!

My experience
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet area and neighbors, lots of food, walkable laundry and supermarket, bus and train a block away
Cons:
Garbage was DOWN a flight of stairs outside, management would take forever to respond, super would show up unannounced and let themselves in with their key if they needed access, with or without permission.
Advice to owner:
Work and communicate better with your tenants who are paying rent every month at least.
