Great experience here!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Amazing super/management - responsive and kept building clean.
Cons:
140th can get a little loud on warmer nights with everyone hanging out on the street.
Advice to owner:
Our super from 2019-2021 was amazing.

Some Pros and Cons
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location is great. It’s a smaller building and the people in the building are very nice. The original hardwood flooring in the apartments is also very pretty. The supers are very responsive and helpful.
Cons:
The building isn’t very well maintained. The supers are great and always respond to requests, but it seems that the building owner doesn’t prioritize up keeping apartments very well. Our apartment was clearly not cleaned or repainted between tenants. There was literally old food in our oven, random things in drawers, and what looked like at least a decade of grime on things like window frames, tops of cabinets, etc. Some things in the apartment have clearly not been repaired or replaced in a long time either. Our rent was increased significantly between lease years, too, despite this.
Advice to owner:
Make repairs to the building/apartments regularly and please clean and paint between tenants.

Not great
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to trains, and CCNY
Cons:
Major issue with cockroaches and mold
Advice to owner:
Please fumigate and actually dry the walls, there is minimal air circulation causes walls to stay wet after leaks!

Not Well Kept
Former Tenant
Pros:
Near express trains
Cons:
Not well maintained. Stairwell never cleaned. Rent raised by $400/month at lease renewal.
