Management is Horrendous
Former Tenant
Pros:
The apartments are a nice size. The neighborhood has some nice coffee shops and good eats.
Cons:
Management here sucks. It's impossible to get anything fixed. They are unkind and uncaring (not unique for NYC, but still... 😒). They charge us for building "upgrades" that suspiciously never create positive change. Laundry room is disgusting. There are a few neighbors who have disruptive gatherings outside, and have contributed to violence in the neighborhood (shootings outside our front door).
Advice to owner:
Get a new management company.

Iffy landlord and tenants at best
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location is excellent.
Cons:
Dirty. It always smells like weed. They barely clean the hallways. The other tenants are gross. They throw garbage in the hallway and don't pick up after themselves. The building has a serious air quality issue due to apartments smoking weed at all hours of the day.
