package thieves
Former Tenant
Pros:
nice neighbors in the building, cute pets. good at pest control (except in basement.)
Cons:
super isn't responsive, neighbors outside are leery at women, packages are always stolen from inside. loud parties out back every night. NO WORKING CAMERAS. And someone lets their dog go to the bathroom in the laundry room daily instead of going outside. Laundry room is moldy. My bathroom is very moldy.
Advice to owner:
get a WORKING camera for the mail area. Address mold issues

Mouse, Tiny Roaches, & Chronically Caving Ceiling
Former Tenant
Pros:
The unit was spacious with lots of light in the street-facing rooms and the floors were updated!
Cons:
Our bathroom ceiling chronically caved in due to a water leak above our unit. Management would send someone to cover up/repair the ceiling without fixing the leak so the problem persisted for well over a year. Baby cockroaches somehow found their way through the dishwasher pipes, which made our dishwasher unusable. A hole behind our stove welcomed a critter of a different variety - a mouse! We kept quite clean but the pests emerged regularly.
Advice to owner:
Fix the problems - don’t just put a bandaid on them.

Landlord is racist
Former Tenant
Pros:
None none none
Cons:
Landlord is racist. He tried kicking out most of the tenants who weren’t white. Or offered them little money to live out. Mind you the tenants always paid the rent and lived there for years and yet he still wanted most of them out. Also the super does shit job. And management is racist too.
