Management is Extremely Unprofessional
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is relatively newly renovated
Cons:
The finishes look nice but are cheap. Bathroom tile cracks and the grout in the shower fell apart. Peeling/flaking paint as well.

Great first NYC apartment
Former Tenant
Pros:
Package room, very close to delis, coffee shops, good restaurants and take-out spots, roof access (sort of), and about a 5 min. walk to four different trains.
Cons:
Smaller bedroom didn't have a window and I didn't know at the time it should've been marketed as a 2 bedroom FLEX. Very narrow stairwells made it hard to move in and out. Back units are not street-facing and so are very dark. Hot water in the shower runs out after 15 minutes so only 1 person can shower in the span of ~1 hour.
Advice to owner:
Be more engaging, present, and friendly with your tenants.

Management is wildly unprofessional
Former Tenant
Pros:
The location was great, and in-unit amenities like w/d were convenient
Cons:
Just about everything. We were the first tenants to live in our unit and we were misled about the layout of the apartment (advertised as a 2 bedroom when inreality its a one bedroom w/ a "home office." Second bedroom didn't have a window or a proper door installed for the first 4 months of living. Our refrigerator was broken upon moving in, despite being a new building, and the management had a very cavalier and unprofessional attitude about getting it fixed. When we asked for a discounted rent due to the rough start, we were told that we should be grateful for a roof over our heads. Upon moving out, the property manager sent a very aggressive email about the state we left the apartment in. Making us to feel as if we had destroyed the place when in reality it was normal wear and tear. Overall, not worth the amount being charged just because of modern updated. Would so much rather an older, outdated apartment with a great property manager to the treatment we received.
Advice to owner:
Treat your tenants as customers, not inconveniences.
