Former Tenant
Pros:
In my particular unit, there's a washer and dryer. Kitchen is a decent size. Rooms on opposite sides of the apartment. Very close to the train station.
Cons:
- The super is useless
- management is awful and truly run by the scum of the earth, they will not do anything to help
- building is infested with roaches
- My apartment has shelves that are illegally placed
- the secretary who you always will have to talk to from Zalmen management is awful
- People on the street blast music constantly after midnight
- Every time you take out the trash you are met with 3 for rats that may run over your feet
- the buzzer is ALWAYS broken, I wouldn't send expensive packages here
- someone smokes in the hallways which can get into the apartments
- if hot water shuts off there are no updates
- in the winter the boiler usually breaks at least once
- I'm going to reiterate, the super is useless, you'd have to call him everyday for like a week to get him to do something
- this is one of those buildings that they want to "renovate" to hike up rent
- the smell from the dumpsters rise up into the apartments (especially during summer)
