Do not live here!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice neighbors and close to riverside park
Cons:
The building is in horrible condition and the landlord does nothing to fix it. Leaks every few months; the elevator hasn’t worked in almost a year; mice and roaches; they turned the water off for almost a week with no explanation. Tenants have been on a rent strike because the conditions are so bad.
Advice to owner:
Start treating tenants like human beings

Absentee with no maintenance
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good pre war building, thick walls, good water pressure, good location
Cons:
Never expect anything to be fixed, elevator doesn’t work, laundry is always breaking, no upkeep to the apartments even if you have lived in them a long time. No responsiveness about pest control or repairs.
Constant flooding from over worked pipes.

Not the best place to live
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quite building with neighbors who have been residents for over 20 years.
Cons:
Landlord was very hard to get in touch with. The elevator was always broken and heat was sometimes on.
Advice to owner:
Please do a better job of taking care of your property.

Run, don't walk away!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Most residents are not noisy
Cons:
Heat - it's either hot or cold. Never comfortable. Elevator doesn't work as often as it does. SUPER DIRTY it is never clean. Water leaks through the ceiling in the apt and the lobby.
Advice to owner:
Sell it to someone who will care for it

Tricky landlord and admin
Former Tenant
Pros:
It is clean, drug free, good heater
Cons:
Landlord over charge and if u don’t have receipts you are screw. Landlord don’t do repairs, admin are very rude and retaliate against tenants if one call 311. Super is a bad evil person. No covid cleaning has been done on the apartment where a person died of covid
Advice to owner:
They should treat old tenants better and make proper repairs. Stop increasing the rent when services are not being provided to tenants. Keep tenants happy don’t harass Hispanics tenants
