Great 1st NY Apt.
Former Tenant
Pros:
-Small management team made for clearer communication compared to the corporate holders I’ve dealt with since -Rifat was such an awesome super! Even when things were way above his pay grade, he always tried to help! -I only ever saw the occasional roach in the basement on garbage day, never had pests in the apt -The sunlight was excellent in all rooms -Laundry room was always clean -Apt came with removable window screens
Cons:
-Small management team made for longer response times to emails and issues -Package theft was common (edit: I see they’ve since gotten a package room) -Dryers worked but never well -Garbage room was always crowded because neighbors never bothered to break down boxes -Heating was fine 1st winter, then the 2nd winter the radiators in living room and 1 bedroom didn’t work for anything -External pipe caused a huge leak in the living room ceiling. Super tried to patch it twice before we convinced management that they needed a pro to fix the issue
Advice to owner:
Other apartments in the building have much smarter and updated layouts- make it standard for the building! Also your office manager is excellent but she really needs an assistant.
