Full of Mice and Roaches
Former Tenant
Pros:
The super, Ramon, is amazing. He responds quickly and can fix anything! The washer and dryer in the unit is great.
Cons:
The apartment is FULL of roaches and mice. No matter how many times the terminator came, the roaches were nonstop. They definitely haven’t maintained behind the wash/dryer and oven, so I’m sure that’s where the mice are coming from. It’s disgusting. The pipes also are SO loud in the winter time. You will not sleep.
Advice to owner:
Fix your pipes, fumigate your apartments, give your super a raise and bonus.

3 year tenant, lots of issues
Former Tenant
Pros:
The super, Ramon, is very nice and an incredibly hard worker. Washer and Dryer in Unit Super close to Riverside Park and Riverbank State Park as well as the park along the Hudson- huge plus!
Cons:
3G: Gas leak issues- no gas the first 6 months I lived here. I was given a hot plate by management. Multiple water leak issues. Had the ceiling fall in the bathroom two separate times because of leaks. 2 other leaks from the kitchen ceiling, and another into the front hallway lighting fixture…. All over a span of about 8 months. Very loud. Neighbors play music at all hours with disregard to others during the summer months- I have to get up at 5 for work, so not ideal. If you’re on the back side away from the street you can hear it, but it’s not as bad as the front side of the building. Ramon (super), and his family do their best to keep the building clean, but they manage 2-3 buildings, and many of the tenants are disrespectful to the common areas. We had mice in this apartment multiple times, would see multiple a day. After having the exterminator and super over multiple times, they finally discovered a hole about 12 in x 12 in behind the dishwasher. I had stay on the entry level before moving out into the building next door, and that apartment was absolutely infested with cockroaches. Would see 40 a day or more, it was horrific. It honestly been so long I can’t remember for sure, but I think we were given a significant rent discount for this. If it weren’t for Ramon, the washer and dryer in unit and dishwasher, as well as my budget, I wouldn’t have stayed as long as I did.
