Great building well maintained

Pros:
Well managed in terms of living (heat, clean, organized...) Good security system
Cons:
No doorman or lockers so packages are often stolen. Management's answer, get a locker at the post office. Rent stabilized building, and feel they have illegally de-stabelized many apartments, so young people with good income and used to downtown gouging think the prices are decent even though they are doubling the rents.
Advice to owner:
Put in a storage locker in the basement, like many of us were told by the listing agent.

very responsive maintenance staff. cleanliness.
Cons:
packages kept getting stolen from the front lobby.

slow to solve issues

Pros:
Lots of space, nice neighbors, close to groceries and subway.
Cons:
Left us without oven/gas for several months and didn’t reduce or refund rent. Didn’t adequately address bed bug issues (didn’t inspect adjacent apartments).
Advice to owner:
Fix things! Bed bugs and no gas make a building uninhabitable.

Great team of building staff are very helpful and responsive, very clean building with lots of amenities, constantly updating and renovating common areas

Sometimes lack of communication about upcoming maintenance

Garbage chute on each floor
Cons:
Horrible super, doesn’t reply to maintenance requests, have contacted him multiple times for several months and he still never came to fix the issues. My room was freezing because something was wrong with the heat in my room and he kept saying he will fix it and never did. I stayed in a frigid room with multiple layers of blankets and hats on to sleep because he never came to address the issue
Advice to owner:
Get a new Super that responds and makes himself available for tenant issues.
