After a decade...
Former Tenant
Pros:
-Beautiful green quiet street -Great neighbors, long time tenets, polite new tenets -Solid walls, very little noise issues (neighbors have to be really loud to hear them) -In 10 years (on 2nd floor) only twice have a seen a pest, and it was felt with swiftly and affectively. -Great water pressure -Security cameras, outside too -Stay very warm and toasty in the winter...
Cons:
-...but AC is a must in summer, hard to get good ventilation -No garbage chute, but bringing garbage down isn't bad. -Laundry room isn't reliable, go to the laundromat on the corner. -Maintenance & management is changing hands (as of this post) so yet to be seen how that will affect the building. -No roof access

Horrible harassing building and management. Dont move here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Neighbors and community
Cons:
horrible management and incompetent superintendent who will harass you.
On one occasion the superintendent actually sent up his daughter to threaten me. They have gone so far as to attempting to forge a renewal lease recently. They will also try scare tactics giving you false threats if you do not know better.
Very unresponsive unless it is beneficial for them - I have experienced an issue with leaking in bathrooms damaging structure and the fix they wanted was for me to just not use my bathtub; it took them a year to properly repair it.
well known for chasing out tenants to up the rent for the next sucker: there are people paying more for a "refurbished" studio than those who have 1 or 2 bedroom apartments. Every other day you can see someone getting tired of their crap / harassment and move out.
Advice to owner:
Do your job and stop harassing tenants. Your attempt with loud yelling and overtalk isn't as effective as you think: I see a lawsuit in your future.

Decent for the price
Former Tenant
Pros:
Price was good, very quiet street, if your windows don’t face Edgecombe, laundry in basement is nice
Cons:
The super wasn’t always the most responsive, and the fixes he did didn’t always hold up.
