Loved it here
Former Tenant
Pros:
Safe, packages never stolen, Felipe (super) is kind and prompt, building is quiet, sturdy well-made appliances in unit, garbage and recycling was easy
Cons:
Elevator not working occasionally, saw a drug deal happen outside the building

The super is excellent
Former Tenant
Pros:
The super is responsive and very good at his job.
Cons:
Once the heat is tuned on, it’s like a sauna all the time.

The Pros and Cons
Former Tenant
Pros:
Laundry in building, elevator, super is super nice and accommodating, very ideal location.
Cons:
The Management is the worst that I have worked with in the 9years of living in New York City. They charged me double the rent out of “error” and threatened to leave my belongings out on the street. They are rude, unaccommodating and con artist.
Advice to owner:
Change management. You’re doing a terrible job.

Pests are a huge problem
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very large rooms with lots of space to entertain. Great neighborhood too.
Cons:
Roaches and mice EVERYWHERE. Did not have heat many times in the winter

Spacious apartment, but lots of pests
Former Tenant
Pros:
Size, layout, elevator, close to subway
Cons:
Major pest issues. Cockroaches and mice. Landlord was on top of it, would come immediately to try and help trap and prevent more. But the issue never stopped.

Nice and responsive management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Management would come to fix things almost immediately
Cons:
There were definitely critters at various points. Also no ramp in the front and a number of steps to enter made things hard with carts and for old people.
Advice to owner:
Install a ramp. Maybe more to ensure no roaches?

Nice but needs improvement
Former Tenant
Pros:
Love the open concept in the apartment and the brick walls. Elevator and laundry room is a plus. Apartment is very spacious. Very close to multiple train lines. Up the street from the best bodega.
Cons:
Could be cleaner. They shut off the hot water frequently, and lately with no warning. Super is really nice but when you ask the super to do something, he says he will but sometimes doesn’t show up. Have to keep following up or email management directly. Can get loud outside the building and you can hear it from the top floors. Also they charged me and my roommates $400 each just to apply to the building. I realized too late that this isn’t standard practice and we were taken advantage of.
