Former Tenant
Pros:
close to the train?
Cons:
noisiest block in the neighborhood. the owner lives off the rent of tenants and refuses to do bare minimum maintenance and it shows. place is falling apart including stairs, chipped and old paint everywhere - when painting was done there was no clean up - so dirt and dog hair is painted in the floors and walls. damp basement, bad electrical that flickers or outlets that simply don’t work, if the owner pays the heat bill on time (unlikely), the radiators clang from November to March - absolutely never maintained. drafty apartments through old cracks in walls and from connecting buildings. neighbors are awful, rude and selfish and big problems with security including several break ins.
Advice to owner:
sell it and move on
