better maintenance please
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to transportation and amenities.
Cons:
Very run down, and had not been painted, in years outside door was rusted, I requested change after I fell from it. Sometimes I do have hot water to shower.I went into the apartment because it was cheap, but now the rent is higher. It was an "as is" so it was not in good condition except for the wooden floors. The kitchen floor is old and worn out. I requested repairs and fixing but very little was done. Only emergency repairs due to leaking from the ceiling. I stayed all these years because it was affordable now landlords have a free ride to charge more for buildings that are decaying and there is no investment in making it better for the tenants. I have not received my bank statement with my rent deposit either.
Advice to owner:
Work on being fair,we rent because we cannot afford a house. Please do not charge more than the legally allowed

Predictable
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice size for what you pay. Relatively safe building - no break-ins when I lived on the 1st floor. Regular extermination.
Cons:
My next door neighbor would scream and slam furniture at all hours for about a year. Management took almost 2 months to return my security deposit. Roaches.
Advice to owner:
People over profits.
