Slumlord in nyc
Former Tenant
Pros:
Not much to say here… I guess the size is okay and it’s close to the subway. That’s about it.
Cons:
No response from management about anything. They don’t do repairs and they don’t maintain the property AT ALL. Neighbors throw parties and make a mess without cleaning up. Lots of bugs.
Advice to owner:

BEWARE! Cockroach Paradise!
Former Tenant
Pros:
My neighbors were nice?
Cons:
The whole building is INFESTED with cockroaches. Not the small ones either. I’m talking MASSIVE cockroaches. I lived there for 2 years thinking I could just get some bug spray and over look it. Ya’ll I called 311 on multiple occasions. I asked for help with the situation and really didn’t get any better. It was not uncommon AT ALL to open my mailbox to multiple dead (but sometimes live) cockroaches. One time I even opened my mailbox to a dead mouse.
For the duration of my rental history with this building, the property owners were unresponsive to the point of being borderline negligent.
Advice to owner:
Get out of the business of property management. You’re clearly just in it for the money and the wonderful people in that building deserve better.
