Would be better with consistent maintenance.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to massive transport 1and A train and buses to the Bronx. Friendly neighbors. Affordable apartment.
Cons:
I've lived in the same apartment over 20 years very little renovations have happened. History of water damage in apartment. The management is not responsive to any requests the first time takes several call problems are not fully solved only bandage solutions. For example, my tub consistently keeps clogging every 3 months for the past 5 years, pipes are so old never been replaced. The front door lock is always damaged or keys do not work leading to unwanted guest.
The structure problems lead to high levels of mice and cockorochers. There not bad if you buy products but come over from other apartments that are more rundown
Old power outlet, only 1 in every roo.
Advice to owner:
Reward your long term tenets by providing updates and needed renovations.
