Don't Come Here
Former Tenant
Pros:
The size of the rooms are good if you care about nothing else
Cons:
It was an awful experience.

Big apartments - but not great area + management wasnt great

Squatters and drug dealers hang out in the lobby
Former Tenant
Pros:
Access to public transportation
The owner is responsive to repairs and maintenance
Cons:
Drug dealers and addicts on this block. In winter they sleep in the building by the steps smoking and drinking, playing music with no regard for the residents. Often there are loud arguments. Packages are constantly going missing and it makes people uncomfortable.
Advice to owner:
Please hire a security guard to keep trespassers out. It is interfering with peace and quality of life of the tenants. They make noise all hours of the night, leave food, cigarettes and alcohol bottles in the common areas and by the stairs. Packages are constantly stolen.

Don’t Be Fooled
Former Tenant
Pros:
- cheap
- spacious
- landlord’s office is very responsive the best they can be, considering
Cons:
- locks on front door of building would constantly be broken due to people on street breaking in to get drugs from one of the tenants that lives there. Tbh, the people who did break in are generally very sweet, but it’s no less unnerving. I will say, I never felt truly unsafe from anyone in the building, but you definitely have to be very aware of your surroundings and where you’re living. There are a lot of people in and out of the building that partake in lifestyles others may not be comfortable/ familiar with (the broker was trying to rent a lot of apartments to new graduates from downtown and young millennials from different backgrounds I found - just be prepared)(also be sure to watch your step walking up the stairs - found many needles, sometimes trails of blood, etc.)
- General upkeep of individual apartments is slim to none. If something is broken/ a mess when you move in, it may never be fixed
- The most inappropriate and creepy super I’ve ever had. Made me wildly uncomfortable, constantly. Also not very responsive at all
Advice to owner:
- new super (if he’s still there from a few years ago)/ better maintenance management, to better respond to concerns of tenants concerning repairs/ issues in individual apartments.
