Pros:
Quiet neighborhood, close to CUIMC campus (good for students), spacious apartments
Cons:
HUGE roach problem. Live in super will never respond to you. EVEN WHEN YOU GET STUCK IN THE ELEVATOR
Advice to owner:
be more responsive to your tenants!

Pros:
The building is gorgeous, the apartments are spacious, and the neighbors are lovely but the management company is HORRENDOUS. Absolutely no communication or follow through. I will never ever even live in one of their properties again. Super is fine, not the worst or best.
Cons:
Horrible management, won’t answer questions, lost my security deposit, never got back to me about any issues.
Advice to owner:
Don’t move in here.

Pros:
Neighbors are young professionals, friendly, lots of dogs. Quiet street and well kept communal areas. Garbage area very well maintained. I loved living in this building.
Cons:
Package thief problem. If you have a longstanding issue in the apartment (I had a leak that kept happening) don't expect anyone to care about fixing it. The super is nice but often busy. The management office (Empire Management) doesn't know what they're doing and do a terrible job communicating to you about rent, leases etc.
Advice to owner:
You need to be proactive with their tenants. I should not have to call the management office multiple times every week for MONTHS to get something done that you should have done for me.

Cons:
The super of the building is terrible. He does not help with anything and the management company is so hard to get ahold of. We had our ceiling leak and they still haven’t fixed it. We had to file a 311 complaint.
Advice to owner:
Do better.
