Good building, Poor management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Super was great, overall the building was clean and we had few issues with pests
Cons:
The management company is awful to work with. Had to remind them multiple times to resend our lease for renewal, they finally sent it with only a few days left. Any repairs that require new parts or an outside repair company will take months and require you to stay on top of it til it gets done.

Bad Management, Leaking Roof, Rats and Asbestos
Former Tenant
Pros:
The rent was reasonable for the amount of space we got The building is a short walk from the subway and a short walk from a beautiful view of the great George Washington Bridge The building is close to Jay Hood Wright Park
Cons:
Management is unresponsive and rude Our apartment had leaks in two different rooms that management did not fix for the six months at the end of our lease There were rats on our walls after a boiler replacement that management took two weeks to respond to, but did fix When they were fixing the water leaks, asbestos was in all of the walls, and no precautions were made to fix it The city came by and tested all the fire alarms and 3/4 of all of the alarms did not work Cannot get packages shipped to the building as they get stolen repeatedly, and the mailboxes have been broken into repeatedly
Advice to owner:
Run the building like you live in it

Great Apts if you never have problems
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great apartments layouts.
Cons:
Management is impossible to get a hold of. Super is incredibly rude and lazy. Request your rental history, most apartments are stabilized and have “questionable” price hikes.

the weirdest rent situation
Former Tenant
Pros:
decently large and affordable four bedroom for grad students
Cons:
management didn’t give us any way to pay rent for most of the year, asked for it all at once at the end. also wildly unresponsive to issues like broken dishwasher and drains.
