Loud neighbors. Loud neighborhood. Management is slow at responding to issues.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Steps from the 175th St A train. Literally. The super is friendly and does his best. That’s about it.
Cons:
Neighbors: They love to throw loud parties. Or they’ll congregate, smoke, drink, and play loud music outside, on the steps leading to the building. Especially during the summer. No one seems to understand the concept of recycling. They love throwing their trash out in city trash cans. Not necessarily pertaining to the building: or there’s almost always dog poop on the sidewalk.
Management: slow to respond to issues. When they do, they’ll hire the worst pros who just barely fix things.
Heat: This is the first winter proper heat has been provided.
Pests: Roaches are a problem. But that’s common in a lot of buildings. You can hear mice scratching behind walls.
