It’s a place to live

Pros:
Some of the people in this building are really kind and the location is convenient. It’s nice that some of the units have a washer/dryer.
Cons:
When I moved in the shipping bolts from the washer hadn’t been removed and the dryer almost fell on top of us when we were running our first cycle. There were dead roaches in the bathroom and the lightbulbs were burnt out upon moving in as well. Our unit had a view of brick walls from all windows and the downstairs neighbors threw the loudest parties I’d ever heard in my life that echoed off the alleys. I shared this with the super who told me there was nothing he could do because “those people are animals”. I hope things have changed but it was not a good experience.
Advice to owner:
Please care about the building.
