Too many tenants, poor management
Former Tenant
Pros:
Close to Broadway, so things are close but without Broadway noise
Elevator & laundry
Spacious living space
Thick walls
Cons:
With thick walls, comes roaches
A roach here & there no matter what you do. Think it’s because there’s way too many tenants in this old building.
Management is NOT responsive. No matter how much you call, their call center says “I’ll relay the message” and hangs up without giving you a chance to say anything more.

The elevator was just out for a week and a half after management promised for it to be out only a couple days, so there’s a perfect example.

The garbage is in the basement right in front of the elevator, so when you try to go do laundry it’s straight flies and roaches in your face.

The laundry machines: some are stronger than others. Some won’t dry your clothes fully. Some will eat your money and detergent and then not even work. And you have to just figure it out on your own through trial and error.
Advice to owner:
Just because we are uptown doesn’t mean you shouldn’t care about your tenants. Bad management will always get exposed. Do better.
