WORST APARTMENT EVER
Former Tenant
Pros:
Cheap, not gentrified, decent size rooms
Cons:
This was the worst apartment I have ever rented. From the loud music EVERY. SINGLE. NIGHT. to the dead mouse left in the lobby for over a week, this apartment was a nightmare. There were multiple times the water was turned off with no notice and the front lobby area smells like piss. Over the two years I stayed, I only saw people cleaning the lobby ONCE. The “live in supper” is non existent.
This apartment should only be rented under last circumstances.

Solid deal
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building itself is very quiet in terms of noise (except ceilings/floors are quite thin). Although you can’t contact the super directly, when you do get in touch with them through the work order system they get things done very quickly. Rent is not bad at all.
Cons:
See above—they can be challenging to get ahold of and then are not transparent about when they will come to fix an issue (I.e., it will say after submitting a work order we will receive a text with an ETA but we never do—although they always come quickly, it’s just hard to plan on our end). We had problems with pests for a while, despite being extremely clean people, which makes me think they (the pests) are in the building, and the sign up sheet for the exterminator through the building is only up very occasionally.
Advice to owner:
Work on your work order system so you are more communicative and transparent with your tenants. Address larger pest issues by ensuring your exterminator is accessible and consistent.
