Clean and quiet
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is always clean and tidy however renovations to apts are splotchy and messy
Cons:
Finicky neighbors, if you’re sensitive to noise move out of NYC instead of complaining and whining
Advice to owner:
Hire contractors for certain jobs and renovations, super is spread too thin and rushes jobs having to come back numerous times.

Great Neighbors Average Landlord
Former Tenant
Pros:
The main thing about this building is there are many long-term residents who care about the building and their neighbors. It is a major plus. There is a family that takes care of garbage and cleaning and does some handywork maintenance but is not extraordinarily reliable.
Cons:
Landlord is not responsive to tenant requests. The building definitely has illegally destabilized units. A lot of patch jobs on large issues (leaky roof and radiators) that should be maintained better.
Advice to owner:
Your residents care about your property more than you do.

constructive criticism
Former Tenant
Pros:
good tenants and no riff raff; super keeps building clean and basement clean as well
Cons:
interior elevator wooden door needs to be re-planed or re-surfaced;
We need New Washing Machines and Dryers... they keep breaking down periodically PLUS it's been over 15 yrs since we had new machines..time to replace...
Advice to owner:
building bricks could be painted to make it more appealing; too many miscolored/mismatching bricks.
How about REPLACING WASHING MACHINES AND DRYERS WITH NEW ONES.
