Shivering to the Core!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very well maintained entryway & very well presented lobby area. The building itself is very well maintained inside and out, the garbage area for the most part is organized & maintained & is locked during the later evening hours. So all garbage needs to be brought down or else it must wait until early morning. The other residents in the building are very respectful & most noise level are low , minus the occasional party or two, otherwise is great. Security cameras on each floor that are working, so there’s peace of mind there.
Cons:
The water pressure in the building is terrible & to add on to that hot water is probably lukewarm at best & as it gets later into the night , it’s just gets colder. The heat is deplorable! We are coming into winter & at the coldest time , there is literally no heat, the radiators are literally cold bc it’s like it’s turned completely off , if you have to take a shower bc prepared for the water to be freezing. There are many great things about living in this building but the heating issue trumps all of that bc no one wants to be freezing at night
Advice to owner:
Figure out how to improve water pressure in this building / heating is a very serious issue for this building, either the boiler or whatever needs to be changed or new windows need to be installed bc during the winter these apartments feel like iceboxes.
