Former Tenant
Pros:
The super is great and is available often to fix things. He is the only person who is functional within the administration in this building.
Cons:
We haven’t had working gas for over a year, management is impossible to contact and when you happen to get a hold of them, they remove themselves from taking accountability for anything in regards to the state of the building. We also didn’t have working mail boxes for over 6 months. For both the gas and the mail, tenants had to collectively contact local government to get the attention of the property owner. Still, the property owner took no responsibility and now we are over a year with no gas for cooking, along with that, there has been no offer for rent reduction.
Advice to owner:
Communicate more clearly with your tenants. We haven’t seen or heard from you in months. Every update we get about the gas is through neighbors speculating. I love my neighbors and apartment, but have decided to move solely because of the terrible communication and lack of accountability.
