Pros and Cons
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building is generally quiet and fairly clean. The super does take care of garbage and recycling well. Maintenance calls are typically quick to be responded to HOWEVER see cons for issues with management.

I've found the vast majority of people in the building to be kind and polite. Laundry etiquette is generally followed and people respect each other's space and belongings.
Cons:
if something needs to be 'replaced' like a window screen or door buzzer it can take MONTHS for management to get it done. We actually had to negotiate it into a lease renewal that the building would replace a broken door buzzer that we'd been contacting them about for 2 months during a pandemic where social distancing was paramount not being able to buzz groceries etc in to our lobby literally put us and the delivery people at risk.
Typical management shenanigans go on during lease renewals, but it helps to discuss things with your neighbors and be open with each other so as not to be duped by our corporate overlords.
Advice to owner:
Respond to calls for things that are legally your responsibility--as mentioned above. Over all, I have really liked living in this neighborhood and even in this building at times, but the massive amount of red tape around rudimentary maintenance requests like replacing a rusted/broken window screen makes this place feel shady when it doesn't need to be.

Nice building to live in
Former Tenant
Pros:
Spacious, laundry in building, good water pressure, Amazon locker installed recently
Cons:
Super semi-responsive, takes a long time to resolve issues unless urgent, heating not good & rooms are drafty, laundry small and machines not cleaned often
Advice to owner:
Fix heating in left side of building.

Lazy Super
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great neighbors, and beautiful apartments.
Cons:
Super is very lazy, never wears a mask and takes a long time to resolve issues. Heat is non existent when it is actually cold outside. Lobby, stairs, and hallways of building are poorly cleaned. Intercoms constantly have issues. Building management responds promptly, but doesn’t realize the super isn’t able to complete most tasks.
Advice to owner:
Find a better super who turns on the heat and wears a mask.

Not thr best.
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location to subway
Cons:
Radiator bangs like a hammer. I had bed bugs in 2019. No heat regularly. Drafts and too cold and too hot heating
