If Walls Could Talk
Former Tenant
Pros:
Big bedroom and living room, updated appliances, nice proximity to the A train
Cons:
VERY thin walls. You can hear literally everything your neighbors do. Very unfortunate when your bedroom wall is shared with your neighbor’s kitchen, especially when they blare music at all hours. Some units have very narrow kitchens. Elevator has broken down many times. Issues with cold water rather than warm water—default water temperature is hot. Similarly, washers and dryers run hotter than normal.
Advice to owner:
Respond and resolve tenant issues in a timely fashion, rather than throwing up your hands. Basic violations of a tenant’s lease should be dealt with effectively.

Absolutely awful - unless they make changes, do not move in!!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location Good lighting Common areas always clean
Cons:
This building is absolutely awful. We have had tons of problems since moving in, and the management company was uncommunicative and unhelpful. It seems like they were recently fired and a new management company is replacing them, so we'll see how that goes.
Also, in mid-January, they cut the gas to the building, with no real time frame about when we'll be getting gas again.
Super is erratic and randomly screams at tenants. To be fair, he has a hard job.
Advice to owner:
Put a little more effort into maintaining the building and apartments.

Terrible building maintenance
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good neighbors in building
Cons:
Upkeep on building is non-existent. Building superintendent is terrible and is not responsive to needs of tenants
