Lovely building, miserable management

Unbearable overhead noise!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Size of apartment, good light and good view.
Cons:
The worst floor-to-ceiling noise I have experienced in over 30 years of living in NYC. Within an hour of moving in I wanted to move out. After another hour I was curled up in a fetal position, trying not to have a breakdown.
Advice to owner:
Whenever an apartment is vacated, soundproof the damn floor and/or ceiling; it's absolutely crucial. No-one should have to endure this HIDEOUS noise level from their neighbors.

700 Fort Washington
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great community, quiet yet growing neighborhood.
Cons:
The hallways are dark and dreary, no carpeting anywhere and industrial style lighting. Bad washing machines in basement.
