Review summary

Summarized from anonymous rental reviews on Openigloo.

Recent tenant feedback for 101 Sherman Avenue reflects a mixed living experience. Residents appreciate the spacious, rent-stabilized apartments and peaceful neighborhood vibe. Proximity to transit also rates positively. However, persistent pest infestations, mold, and inconsistent maintenance—including elevator reliability and hot water issues—detract from comfort. Some renters report unclean conditions and challenging interactions with management, urging improvements in responsiveness and transparency. Noise levels and neighbor relations vary but often lean toward quiet and respectful. Overall, while offering affordability and decent amenities, the building would benefit from enhanced upkeep, better pest control, and more proactive owner engagement to significantly elevate tenant satisfaction.

Cons

It's dirty Mice & Roaches are plentiful Leasing office are rude short and unhelpful. They refuse to fix things or have a discussion. I had to put issues in writing and hold them accountable to nys landlord laws. The stress they caused is immensely tied to my current ptsd
