Not bad for Pre-War
Former Tenant
Pros:
The building was always clean and well maintained, the heat always worked, never had any issues with rodents, always felt safe inside the building, no issues with water pressure, doormen are very nice and helpful, in building laundry is very convenient, convenient to riverside park and 110 stop on 1 train, reasonable electric bills for age of building
Cons:
Water was constantly being turned off for repairs weekly, the building next door is a women’s shelter, many homeless in the neighborhood, it’s a coop so some residents are not the friendliest, curbside trash attracted rodents outside, repairs were next to impossible and usually required my own contractor, unwilling to negotiate price when pandemic hit
Advice to owner:
Be more responsive to renters and maintain cleaning protocols for COVID-19 all year long
