Quiet building on quiet street
Former Tenant
Pros:
- 43rd is relatively quiet compared to other cross streets in midtown (then again, I’m on a high floor so I don’t hear street noise) - The super keeps the sidewalk, bldg and lobby clean. Each floor is mopped weekly as well - LL was quick to replace hvac units and dishwasher when they had a problem - when packages were getting stolen, mgmt hired overnight security
Cons:
- packages were getting stolen - only two washers/dryers in basement for amount of tenants in bldg
Advice to owner:
- You’re asking just a little too much for the rent increase this year. There’s not enough amenities and 2 washers/dryers does not constitute a laundry room. There are apts going for the same price in doorman bldgs

Renovated, but overpriced
Former Tenant
Pros:
There is laundry in the basement, 43rd street is fairly quiet compared to the rest of midtown, my unit is renovated and there’s an elevator. Very rarely hear neighbors in their units. Responsive super. I haven’t had any pests in my unit (on an upper floor).
Cons:
The electric bill is extremely high in this building. There are dead roaches in the stairwell, not enough washers for the amount of tenants. The rent increase is too much, but I wouldn’t save much by moving in this market. The water pressure in my shower is extremely low.

433 W 43 St
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet, lobby kept clean, nice sized apartments
Cons:
We got pests every few days and management didn’t do much to help us. We were in the 1st floor.
Advice to owner:
More responsiveness to bug issues

Expensive apartment, over market
Former Tenant
Pros:
Nice neighborhood very noise
Cons:
Rude and unprofessional teams. They don't help with maintenance quickly; they charge way over market. I have a problem with refrigerator, and they refuse to fixed. The unit I am in is old, sink and bathtub clog frequently. I The building is loud during the , also people smoking outside, and you have to smell. In winter the heater is too Hight and u can't control u literally melt inside the unit and the air condition didn’t work during winter.
