Convenient but old building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Convenient - close to subway, market etc Spacious apartments
Cons:
Old windows with no heat or sound insulation. Apartment is always drafty. Very cold in winter. If you’re facing the street, it will also be loud.
Advice to owner:
New double pane windows needed

Convenience, views, and charming location!
Former Tenant
Pros:
The view of the Cathedral of St. John the Divine from my window and the walk across the street to Central Park were some of the biggest highlights of living here! The door persons were always very friendly and there was a cute coffee shop and bike shop across the street, a grocery store directly below the building - extremely convenient! The B/C was literally in front of the building and the 1/2/3 was only a few blocks away. lots of great restaurants in the area including a Levain's bakery! There was laundry downstairs. The apartment itself was really spacious.
Cons:
Felt a bit dated. The laundry was nothing fancy and occasionally the units were out of service. Hallways are a bit stark - no warm and cozy.
Advice to owner:
Could use a little bit of refreshing in the common spaces.
