Good starter apartment

Pros:
Good storage, exposed brick, high ceilings, laundry in building.
Cons:
No amenities, small stairs so hard to to move in and out, outdated kitchen appliances.
Advice to owner:
None.

Neighbors are a bath house and can be noisy

Quiet within the building

Responsive if you have something to report

Have good heat and hot water (besides typical nyc problems)
Cons:
Not always the quickest in getting things fixed. But they try.
Neighboring businesses can be loud.
Laundry room is not great - machines often don't work.
Advice to owner:
Please fix the laundry machines. Otherwise, I like it here.

Walter the porter is very kind.
Cons:
God bed bugs, there was no hot water for 5 weeks, and it flooded and there was 12 inches of water

Building is always clean. Management takes good care of the building and are very responsive.
