Dirty, roaches, poorly managed
Former Tenant
Pros:
Very convenient location. Tall ceilings despite the small size.
Cons:
The building is old and poorly managed. Had a noticeable roach problem both outside and inside my apartment during the summer. Management took FOREVER to return my security deposit, I had to basically hound them repeatedly for it. Why is there a weird trash art garden in the back yard? The bathroom was disgusting, severe mold issue and plumbing problems.

Advice to owner:

Avoid this building
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good location, but not worth it
Cons:
Management is not responsive, there is a cockroach issue and it is impossible to sleep due to loud construction from outside at all hours

horrible management and service
Former Tenant
Pros:
Quiet steeet and good neighborhood
Cons:
The management will NEVER respond to any issues you raise. They never fix anything once it is broken. Most tenants have to fight to get their security back as the management never sends them for months and doesn't respond to queries.

Stay far away!
Former Tenant
Pros:
Located close to some good restaurants
Cons:
The landlord is terrible and unresponsive. I came here for a quiet block, but there has been construction on the school just a 100 yards away at all times of the day and night. There is also a major pest issue, with both mice and cockroaches a common sight and no remediation. Stay far away from this building!

Decent price but not safe and not so good maintenance
Former Tenant
Pros:
My unit is cheap not sure if it is rent stabilised but it’s very small . Easy access to Columbus Circle train station which brings you everywhere
Cons:
Very small space. Heat is not well controlled . Not very well maintained but acceptable if you are on a very tight budget. However there were a number of attempted break-in so it’s not safe to live in. Police came a few times. I also got my delivery packages stolen and management didn’t do anything about it .
Advice to owner:
Upgrade safety security, improve the space , and please maintain the facilities better

Dirty but bearable
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, close to Central Park
Cons:
Riddled with cockroaches, and lately there has been a stranger climbing the fire escape at night
Advice to owner:
Do something about the man sitting on peoples fire escapes

Mediocre building with nice size apartments but issues with maintenance
Former Tenant
Pros:
- Bedrooms are big with big closets - full sized appliances - decent sized living area
Cons:
- water damage to ceilings they’re crumbling in places - plumbing issues - water in shower takes several minutes to start coming out at all and is either way too hot or way too cold when it does finally come - mold - advertised outdoor space but have it locked - weird art everywhere
