beautiful location, was ruined by disturbance
Former Tenant
Pros:
no pests, no package stealing, good location, friendly neighbors (besides stussy)
Cons:
got locked out of apartment, had to pay a $400 fine. i didn’t even put the automatic lock on my apartment.. the property manager aka the super (he was insulted if you referred to him as that) changed the lock on my apartment. when i closed my door without my key i would have had no clue i wouldn’t be able to get back in. on top of that, living above study was absolutely dreadful. their employees smoke weed and crack and reals through the air vents, blast music, throw parties at night. when you ask the employees to keep it down- they get offended and feisty.. as if it’s gonna come out of their $14 an hour paycheck to just be considerate of neighbors of a building. i got management to handle this situation a little bit, all they did was have a sound guy come in and confirm their sound levels were a noise disturbance. not much happened after that. on top of that, my apartment was kinda falling apart, despite paying $2800 a month + wifi and utilities. i had a drawer break down, water turn brown, lights not turn on, and the heater left dust everywhere. if you’re a tenant of this building and live on the first floor, i applaud your patience.
Advice to owner:
make stussy evacuate
