Scum Lord Owner - Remy Issembert
Former Tenant
Pros:
Location, location, location
Cons:
Where to begin. So we lived there for 4 years and thought it was lovely. This was until we got chemical exposure, with months of reactions, due to shotty construction work. Our landlord did absolutely nothing, and continued to get worse. He withheld all our money. Denied our physical reactions.
He owes the previous super 30k. Our previous super informed us this building is riddled with gas issues and mold. This building would be in my top ten of what would collapse on itself.
If anything goes wrong it usually has to be fixed by yourself, or he’ll hire people that do not know what they are doing and generally make it worse.
Advice to owner:
Your American Dream is that you have become a true Slum lord owner. Should probably sell all your property ASAP. Before this happens to another one of your buildings. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/303_East_51st_Street
