Overall great building
Former Tenant
Pros:
The staff at the building is very good - very proactive in delivering your packages and discarding large recyclable items/garbage. The location is convenient and close to major subway stations.
Cons:
Water pressure is ok for the 2bed apartment we are in. If one showers, the other water pressure will be low. Sometimes the surrounding area could be loud.

Pricey but worth it if you have the money
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great, warm friendly staff Prompt garbage management They literally will packages up to your door Beautiful views on the city and Hudson, great sunlight if you're in sun, east or west facing apartment Amazing location, literally 5-10min walk away from virtually every major subway line Nice Rooftop that no one uses, felt like a private roof most days/nights Beautiful plaza that you can sit, relax, work in during the warmer months
Cons:
Expensive You have to tip staff at winter holiday and probably each time they help you with you something big (like you technically don't HAVE to, but really you should bc they do a LOT for you)

Cons:

Great place, but not super quiet
Former Tenant
Pros:
THE STAFF. Super caring and for such a large building, they truly know their residents and offer a personalized experience, so to speak. The building was always clean and any maintenance requests (I had maybe 2 in 2.5 years and nothing major) are handled promptly. I rented directly from a unit owner and she was always responsive as well. Sun decks are great :)
Cons:
To be fair, I was on a lower floor and faced the plaza between 49th and 50th, and with two restaurants there it could get noisy, even through the night. It’s a busy area. The only thing that truly drove me crazy was the sound of the pipes in the walls - that loud clanging sound as they heat up. It’s LOUD. But I don’t think it’s anything the building can control, so no points deducted - just beware if you’re a light sleeper!
Advice to owner:
Keep it up! I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and I do hope the neighborhood has recovered from COVID and is bright and bustling again!

Stay away from unit 21C 350 w 50 street
Former Tenant
Pros:
Great location Good light
Cons:
Terrible owner and broker duo. Stay away from Amanda Becchio as broker and Shu Fen(her colleague). They represent owners like the one of unit 21C at worldwide place 350 w 50 Street. The glass and vanity are broken in the apartment, paint in terrible condition and the window in the bedroom w a massive crack. That is a safety hazard!!!!!! Cannot believe they can rent a condo apartment w all these very significant red flags in place, and have the cheek to say this is how the owner wants to rent it. Well, the owner needs to wake the hell up, and offer the basic Courtesy that is offered in buildings far less prestigious than this one! Gosh!!!!
Advice to owner:
Be a decent landlord/lady and show some respect to your tenants.

Good Experience But Expensive
Former Tenant
Pros:
All the staff (doormen, handymen, concierges, porters, and more) are amazing. The buildinglink portal is very convenient and works well for submitting repair requests and for engaging in a forum with fellow residents.
Cons:
The property managers/management company can be very difficult to get a hold of. Although the building is post-war, my particular condo unit was a little dated and had build quality deficiencies. That could definitely vary from unit to unit, though, as each unit is owned by a different landlord.
Advice to owner:
The resident manager is helpful, but never picks up his phone and rarely answers emails. The property manager is responsive, but can be unhelpful.

Great Building
Former Tenant
Pros:
This is a condo, so you are renting from an owner, the staff is really good, the place is clean and maintained well.
Cons:
The elevators are always broken. They building needs to open up the stair well and allow people to walk up the stairs if they choose. The heat is not that good. In the 2nd floor, the floors are always ice cold and the heat is not strong enough to heat them up.
Advice to owner:
Some bathrooms are outdated and need to be updated. Need to do something about the floors that are cold.

Cons:
