Charming, well-maintained prewar building
Former Tenant
Pros:
-Overall, 56 Perry Street is an amazing building. The management and super were always accommodating and helpful -The building management is extremely friendly, responsive and involved. Any apartment issues are always immediately fixed -The super does an excellent job maintaining the building. The hallways are always clean and the trash is well kept. -There is a generally friendly and safe atmosphere in the building
Cons:
-The heat in the winter was inconsistent, and certain rooms were almost always too cold. However, this is to be expected in a pre-war building
