100% Unresponsive and impossible to get a hold of
Former Tenant
Pros:
Good price for area, but you get what you pay for.
Cons:
They never respond and will never resolve any of your issues unless you threaten them with calling the city or withholding rent.
Trying to get ahold of someone is impossible, it’s as if they don’t actually have any employees just a bunch of voicemails you can leave messages to that just live in a black hole. Upi, who manages rent is the rudest person I’ve ever had the displeasure of communicating with. If you have an issue in your apartment good luck! Water damage? Deal with it. Broken appliance? Suck it up. Clarity on why rent increased so much? Forget about it.

This is quite possibly the worst management I’ve ever had. If I didn’t love the neighborhood so much I would be long gone. Constant plumbing issues, constant roof leaking, constant heat issues in the winter. Living in this building is like the Hunger Games.

Don’t come here
Former Tenant
Pros:
The neighborhood is lovely but stay away from this management company: SW Management.
Cons:
The super is really really bad. You’re pretty much on your own for most issues. The wife usually fields the calls and she almost never understands

They provided little to no updates on repairing our stovetops during the entire pandemic. That was when people desperately needed home cooking options and they straight up ghosted us. Be prepared for radio silence from property management for just about any and all issues like water being shut off and stovetops not working.

The garbage disposal system is disgusting. They drag the bags across the courtyard to the front of the building and it leaves a snail trail of liquids. They then mop the grounds but it’s kind of a disgusting system and they don’t always clean it right away.
Advice to owner:
You guys are too far removed from the needs and quality of life of your actual tenants. I anticipate more bad reviews for SW Management in the future until someone changes how management communicates with its tenants.

Terribly Managed
Former Tenant
Pros:
Affordable for location
Cons:
Did not have functioning gas in kitchen for a total of 1 year - 6 months of which were during covid. Management did not give a shit. Gave us hot plates and still charged us full rent when some of us lost our jobs. We are all still waiting to be reimbursed. Everyone moved out because of it.
Advice to owner:
Care about your tenants.
