Beautiful and clean, but needs attention
Former Tenant
Pros:
Clean, responsive in fixing issues in the apartment very friendly staff. The garbage is taken out regularly, and the elevator and lobby were always very clean. The basement where the laundry was located was also spotless.
Cons:
Tenants are allowed to smoke in their unit, and it carries to other units. Owners were nonresponsive about severe secondhand smoke. Windows need to be updated because you can hear every single sound even on the top floors, which is where I was renting from. The washer and dryers are mostly broken/out of service and need to be replaced. There are about five working washing machines for hundreds of tenants. Leasing department does not communicate with each other, and if we weren’t paying attention would have lost some of our prorated rate at the time of move out. We had to send multiple screenshots and emails to let them know that they Inconsistencies with communication. if we were not paying attention, we could have lost a few thousand dollars since our rent was very expensive.
Advice to owner:
Update your windows and respond to emails even if you don’t have a solution. Don’t ignore emails and make the building smoke-free smoking was a concern for not only us, but our pets.
